Lowry Out for Season, Probably...

On Tuesday, May 19 Giants ace pitcher Noah Lowry under went surgery. Lowry, who has been out since the 2007 season had surgery to remove his left lower rib. Many say the surgery will end his season, and more than likely end his career with the Giants. What an unfortunate scenario for the young pitcher, who basically just started his career. Lowry showed great promise for his age, but has not been able to show it. In his 106 career games, Lowry had 100 starts, a 40-31 record and an ERA of 4.03.

I wish Lowry well, and a speedy recovery. I sincerely hope this is not the end of his career, with or without the Giants. To get all the details, head over to the Giants Web site by following the link below.
