OK, first off I love the ad campaigns the Giants did last season. I couldn't get enough of them. All of the commercials were hilarious, witty and entertaining. I'm sure the "What Would a Gamer Do?" scenarios made Kruk & Kuip proud. Just one thing...
I always wondered why they used Zito for this commercial and not another one? All anyone could talk about last season was Zito's $126 million contract making this commercial kind of a conflict of interest for him.. for obvious reasons that I need not explain... I personally got sick of hearing about it his contract and his lackluster performance. Yeah, he didn't have the best season, but everyone experiences a slump in their career at one point or another. I'm sure the media's blatant bashing of Zito didn't help him perform any better either. I could only imagine the level of anxiety that must have built-up each time he took the mound. I hope people rally behind and for Zito this season and not against him. After all, he's a Giant too!
